CDL Process
We will guide you through every stage of the CDL process, ensuring you understand and complete all the necessary steps to obtain your CDL smoothly and efficiently.

1. CLP
Commercial Learner’s Permit
A Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) is a temporary permit that allows individuals to practice driving a commercial vehicle under the supervision of a licensed CDL holder. To obtain a CLP, applicants must pass written knowledge tests on topics such as vehicle operation and safety regulations. The CLP is essential for gaining the practical experience required before taking the CDL skills test and becoming fully licensed.

2. ELDT
Entry Level Driver Training
The Entry-Level Driver Training requirement is a federal mandate for new commercial driver’s license (CDL) applicants in the United States. It ensures that all first-time CDL holders, those upgrading their CDL, or obtaining specific endorsements (like Hazmat) receive standardized training. The ELDT includes Theory covering essential topics such as safety regulations, vehicle operation, and hazard perception. This training is crucial for preparing drivers to operate commercial vehicles safely and effectively on public roads.

3. BTW & SKILLS
Behind The Wheel Training & Skills Exams
Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) training provides hands-on experience, allowing CDL applicants to practice driving a commercial vehicle under an instructor’s supervision. This training includes essential skills such as maneuvering, parking, and safe driving practices to prepare students for real-world driving conditions
The CDL Skills Exam tests a candidate’s ability to operate a commercial vehicle and includes three parts: a pre-trip inspection to check vehicle safety, basic vehicle control maneuvers, and an on-road driving test to assess compliance with traffic laws and safe driving. Passing this exam is essential to obtaining a CDL
